Nectars? Hot Tin Roof? Yesterday’s news.

Tonight, Friday the 13th, Dreamland returns.

The brainchild of the man behind Sharky’s and the Martha’s Vineyard Chowder Company, Dreamland is stepping into the music void and welcoming all comers. Phil daRosa is onboard as the entertainment and talent buyer for this 5,300 square foot space, located above the Chowder Company, at 9 Oak Bluffs avenue.

Tonight’s lineup features a host of local bands; DCLA, 2nd Power, The Grateful Dread, Nina Violet and Marciana Jones, and Island Thunder Sound System. Saturday brings a DJ smorgasbord and Sunday Yo Mammas Big Fat Booty Band (you know you’re curious) and Biggie Shorty.

Dreamland will be open 365 days a year. But don’t let that be an excuse to miss the show. Nightmares come to all who wait.
