Saturday, June 23: Steady breeze in the morning lightens and then becomes calm before noon. More wind in the afternoon. A hot afternoon in Oak Bluffs. Children on Circuit avenue eat their melting ice cream cones with urgency. A family gathers for a wedding ceremony amid the lush grass at the Gay Head lighthouse in the afternoon. Recreational fishing boats bob in the rolling waves between the Vineyard and Cuttyhunk.
