The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court:

June 11
 
Maria A. Andrade, 36, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on June 10 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery and vandalizing property. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 28.
 
Michael R. Cass, 45, of Edgartown, arraigned on June 9 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a motor vehicle lights violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 28.
 
Josenaldo A. Deoliveira, also known as Celio De Barrios, 42, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to March 25 charges in Tisbury of assault and threat to commit a crime, sentenced to 90 days in a house of correction with 81 days of credit given. A charge of intimidating a witness was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.
 
Peter J. Estrella, 34, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on Sept. 30 charges in Tisbury of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, complete a 24-day alcohol education program, and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible for a charge of speeding, and charges of failure to stop for police and disorderly conduct were dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.
 
June 14
 
Patrick A. Kelly, 56, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on a Dec. 7 charge of assault in Tisbury, amended from assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Placed on probation for six months, ordered to pay a $50 victim witness assessment fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee.
 
Erik W. Nelson, 37, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to four April 19 charges in Edgartown of shoplifting by asportation, ordered to pay $100 in restitution for each charge.
 
Erik W. Nelson, 37, of Edgartown, had Dec. 10 charges in Oak Bluffs of larceny more than $250, utter false check, and forgery of a check dismissed without prejudice, upon request of the commonwealth.
 
Henry Ryerson, 26, of Chilmark, pleaded guilty to an August 21 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on probation for one year. Ordered to pay $350 in fees and a $50 monthly probation services fee and to complete 24 hours of community service. An August 21 charge of drunken driving in Chilmark was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.
 
June 15
 
Jose L. Arias, 44, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on June 15 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 9.
 
Jason L. Gray, 28, of Edgartown, arraigned on June 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. July 9 pretrial hearing scheduled.
 
June 18
 
Randall Bianchi, 64, of Closter, N.J., arraigned on June 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. The annual summer solstice festival, which features vintage cars, took place over the weekend. According to the police report filed in court, Mr. Bianchi allegedly drove his 1939 Ford Sedan down Circuit avenue where he performed a “burn out” in the car and then accelerated to a speed of 45 to 50 miles per hour while people clapped and cheered. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 16.
 
Jonathan M. Lopes, 31, of Bourne, arraigned on June 17 charges in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct and assault and battery. July 20 pretrial hearing scheduled.
 
Sarah E. Moreis, 28 of Chilmark, arraigned on June 16 charges in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 19.
