The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

May 7

Thomas D. Reese, 49, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on a Feb. 4 Tisbury charge of assault and battery, continued without a finding for 18 months. Ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment. Restitution hearing scheduled for June 6.

Magen Ingargiola, 27, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on May 5 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a police officer. Pretrial hearing continued to June 18.

Alvaro Lionco, 41, of Braintree, arraigned on May 6 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. May 17 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Francis P. Brown, 49, of Chilmark, arraigned on May 4 charges in West Tisbury of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 4.

Magno Ferreira, 23, of Edgartown, arraigned on May 6 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 17.

Jozimar Gomes, 31, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on May 5 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Arraignment continued to May 10 because the defendant did not appear, and pretrial hearing scheduled for June 7.

May 11

Cheranne L. Willoughby, 30, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on 11 counts of larceny from a building in Tisbury. According to an application for a criminal complaint filed with the district court, Ms. Willoughby, the cash office manager at the Vineyard Haven Stop and Shop, allegedly stole $3,600 from the store between Nov. 15 and Dec. 4. June 18 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Marissa J. Dimartino, 22, of Edgartown, had an April 16 Edgartown charge of assault and battery dropped.

Martin J. Kelly, 3rd, 38, of Edgartown, arraigned on May 10 charges in Edgartown of possessing to distribute class B drugs (Percocet), conspiracy to violate drug law, and resisting arrest. Bail set at $6,000, ordered to remain drug free with screens and not to contact Adam Tucker. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 18.

Adam V. Tucker, 24, of Edgartown, arraigned on May 10 charges in Edgartown of possessing to distribute class B drugs (Percocet) and conspiracy to violate drug law, with not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf. Bail set at $6,000, ordered to remain drug free with screens and not to contact Martin Kelly. May 18 pretrial hearing scheduled.

May 14

Kevin C. Hathaway, 22, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to an Oct. 31 charge in Tisbury of intimidating a witness. Placed on probation for two years, ordered to complete 40 hours of community service, not to contact the victim and the codefendant, pay a $90 victim/witness assessment, and a $65 monthly probation services fee. A charge of assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Curvy A. Torain, 32, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on a May 13 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 18.

Frederick G. Burgess, 72, of Oak Bluffs, had Sept. 9 charges in Oak Bluffs of landlord interference with quiet enjoyment, breaking and entering at nighttime for felony, and larceny over $250 dismissed without prejudice.
