The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

April 9

Michael C. Thomas, 50, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on April 9 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault. Ordered to abide by restraining order conditions and not to abuse the alleged victim, pretrial hearing continued to May 7.

April 13

Nikolas R. Harrington, 33, of Edgartown, will have an April 7 Edgartown charge of disorderly conduct dismissed on recommendation of the probation department if $100 in court costs is paid by May 2.

April 17

William J. Bernard, 41, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned for an April 16 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery. Bail set at $500, pretrial hearing scheduled for May 4.

Richard A. Campbell 2nd, 35, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on April 14 charges in Vineyard Haven of larceny from a building and malicious destruction of property more than $250. May 21 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Marissa J. Dimartino, 22, of Edgartown, arraigned on an April 16 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing set for May 11.

Timothy A. Higgins, 28, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on April 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of larceny less than $250 and malicious destruction of property less than $250. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 21.

Owen Maloney, 29, of Chilmark, arraigned on April 14 Edgartown charges of drunken driving, marked lane violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 11.

Kara A. Marshall, 24, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on April 13 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and trespassing. Pretrial hearing continued to May 18.

April 20

Christine A. Kurth, 48, of Edgartown, arraigned on a Jan. 5 charge in Vineyard Haven of uttering false prescription. According to the police report, Ms. Kurth, a home health aide, allegedly used a client’s prescription for a controlled substance cough syrup. June 4 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Matthew S. Look, 32, of Edgartown, arraigned on Sept. 5 charges in Edgartown of larceny more than $250, wanton destruction of property more than $250, and breaking and entering a vehicle or boat in the daytime for felony. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 29.

April 23

Grace Bochicchio, 53, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on two April 22 charges in Oak Bluffs of violating a harassment prevention order. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 29.

April 24

Joseph B. Keenan, 51, of West Tisbury, arraigned on April 23 charges in Chilmark of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and drunken driving, second offense. May 29 pretrial hearing scheduled.
