The following cases heard in Edgartown district court.

Jan. 17

Joseph E. Fournier, 18, of Edgartown, was charged with assault and battery on Jan. 13 in Edgartown. Bail was set at $100 and he was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim. A Jan. 26 pretrial hearing is scheduled.

Dominique A. Hendelman, 30, of Edgartown, was arraigned on charges of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, possessing class C drugs (Valium), possessing class E drugs (Rizatriptan Benzoate) and possessing pepper spray without a federal identification card on Jan. 14 in Oak Bluffs. Bail was set at $100 and a pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 27.

Nancy Gardella, 62, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts for a May 25 charge of drunken driving in Vineyard Haven, continued without a finding for a year. She was ordered to pay $350 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, complete a 24 day alcohol education class and to forfeit her license for 45 days. A May 25 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, and she was found not responsible for an equipment violation.

Lisa Lane, 39, of Vineyard Haven admitted to sufficient facts for a Dec. 17 charge of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. She was ordered to pay $350 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24 day alcohol education program and forfeit her license for 45 days. Found not responsible for Dec. 17 marked lanes violation charge, and a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Jan. 19

Denise D. Cafarelli, 55, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts for a Dec. 23 charge of assault and battery in Vineyard Haven, continued without a finding for three months.

Joshua W. Crossland, 23, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts in a Dec. 30 charge of assault and battery in Edgartown, continued without a finding for six months. Ordered to pay a $50 victim witness fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee.

Paola V. Fuller, 38, of Chilmark had Nov. 23 charges of assault and assault and battery on someone over 60/disabled dismissed upon request of the victim, with accord and satisfaction reached.

Robert Fuller, 68, of Chilmark, was placed on pretrial probation for one year for three Sept. 8 charges of improperly storing firearms in Chilmark. A Nov. 3 charge of criminal harassment was dismissed upon request of the victim, with accord and satisfaction reached.

Tyler S. Paulson, 49, of Vineyard Haven, was placed on pretrial probation for six months for an Aug. 17 charge of assault and battery on a police officer in Vineyard Haven.

Jan. 20

Jaime B. Gaspar, 60, of Edgartown admitted to sufficient facts in an Aug. 8 charge of assault and battery in Tisbury, continued without a finding for two months.

Martin J. Kelly, 37, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts in a June 4 charge of conspiracy to violate drug law in Edgartown, continued without a finding for six months. Ordered to remain drug free with screens. An Oct. 12 charge of possessing class E drugs was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Deborah Travers, 34, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts for March 1 charges of possessing class B drugs (Suboxone) and possessing class E drugs (Xanax) in West Tisbury, amended from distributing class E drugs, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $50 victim witness fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee.

Jan. 23

Joseph E. Peters, 33, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned for larceny under $250 on Dec. 11 in Oak Bluffs, for allegedly stealing a bag of hospital supplies from Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for March 19.

Timothy J. Schreck 2nd, 18, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to commit a crime (breaking into cars) on July 5 in Edgartown. He was placed on probation for one year, and ordered to pay a monthly $50 probation services fee and receive a mental health evaluation and treatment as recommended by probation. Nine other counts of attempting to commit a crime were dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Timothy J. Schreck 2nd, 18 ,of Edgartown pleaded guilty to a July 23 charge of larceny of $250 in Edgartown for stealing $620 from the cash box at Martha’s Vineyard Boys’ and Girls’ Club Second Hand Store, where he was doing court-orderd community service. He was placed on probation for one year, ordered to pay restitution and a $100 fine and undergo mental health evaluation and treatment. A second July 23 charge of larceny from a building was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Timothy J. Schreck 2nd, 18, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to larceny from a building under $250 on August 13 in Edgartown, and was ordered to pay a $100 fine and placed on probation for one year. A second August 13 charge of larceny from a building was dismissed.

Timothy J. Schreck 2nd, 18, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to larceny over $250 on August 30 in Edgartown. Ordered to pay $100 fine and placed on probation for one year. Two other August 30 charges of larceny from a building and shoplifting by concealing merchandise were dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Scott A. Francis, 46, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty to vandalizing property on Aug. 12 in Oak Bluffs. He was placed on probation for one year and sentenced to one year in a house of correction, suspended one year, ordered not to contact the victim and to pay a $50 victim witness fee and a monthly $50 probation services fee.

Marvin J. Brown, 49, of East Falmouth, was arraigned for Jan. 20 charges of possessing to distribute class B drugs (cocaine) and conspiracy to violate drug law in Vineyard Haven. According to the police report, members of the Martha’s Vineyard Drug Task Force received information that Mr. Brown was arriving on the Island with cocaine to distribute, and officers allegedly found three individual bags of cocaine, measuring three grams, on another man, Kurt Yenulevich, who was allegedly carrying the drugs for Brown. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Feb. 10.

Kurt Yenulevich, 47, of Falmouth was arraigned for possession to distribute class B drugs (cocaine) and conspiracy to violate drug law on Jan. 20 in Vineyard Haven. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Feb. 10.
