The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Oct. 24

Michael J. Silvia, 47, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Oct. 23 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked-lanes violation. A Nov. 21 pretrial hearing was scheduled.

Richard Williams Jr., 21, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on Oct. 22 charges in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, malicious destruction of property under $250, resisting arrest and possession to distribute a class D drug. A Nov. 21 pretrial hearing was scheduled.

Madeleine A. Ezanno, 43, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on an Oct. 23 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and two alleged traffic violations. A Nov. 28 pretrial hearing was scheduled.

Oct. 26

Karen G. Thomas, 61, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on an Oct. 26 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and an alleged violation of driving without lights. A Nov. 25 pretrial hearing was set.

Oct. 28

Ryan S. Amaral, 22, of Edgartown, admitted sufficient facts on July 31 charges in Oak Bluffs of distributing a class B drug (Percocet), possession to distribute a class D drug (marijuana), conspiracy to violate drug laws and receiving stolen property under $250, continued without a finding for two years, placed on probation. Ordered to pay monthly $65 probation supervision fee, forfeit $470 and submit to random drug screens. In a second case, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of breaking and entering-nighttime of a vehicle for a felony, case continued without a finding for two years. A second charge of larceny under $250 was dismissed.

Amandalee Clark, 18, of Edgartown, admitted sufficient facts on an August 23 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery, case continued without a finding for six months. Ordered to perform eight hours community service per month in lieu of a monthly $50 probation fee.

Nicole S. Cleary, 29, of Edgartown, arraigned on Sept. 25 charges in Edgartown of breaking and entering for misdemeanor, larceny under $250, forgery of a check and uttering a false check. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 17.

Robert E. Stafursky, 26, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty to a June 15 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, given a suspended 90-day jail sentence, placed on probation for two years, ordered into a 14-day in-patient alcohol treatment program with outpatient counseling to follow. Also ordered to pay a monthly $65 probation services fee and $300 in other court fees and assessments. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed.

Nancy K. Clark, 50, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to a Feb. 18 charge in West Tisury of drunken driving, second offense, given a suspended 90-day jail sentence, placed on probation for two years and ordered into a 14-day in-patient alcohol treatment program with outpatient counseling to follow. Also ordered to pay a monthly $65 probation fee and $350 in other court fees and assessments.

Oct. 31

Lukas Higgins, 24, of West Tisbury, arraigned on Oct. 29 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and two alleged traffic violations. A Dec. 5 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Victoria R. Phillips, 59, West Tisbury, was arraigned on Oct. 28 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. A Dec. 8 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Patrice Carter, 60, of Edgartown, arraigned on an Oct. 31 charge in Oak Bluffs of shoplifting by concealing merchandise. A Dec. 8 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Nov. 1

Carlos M. Fialho, 25, of Edgartown, arraigned on Oct. 31 Oak Bluffs charges of false/misuse of liquor identification card/license and intimidating a witness. A Dec. 8 pretrial hearing scheduled.

Steven O. Lampart, 24, Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Oct. 31 charges in Vineyard Haven of armed assault to rob and intimidating a witness. Bail set at $2,500, a Dec. 5 pretrial hearing was set and he was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim. Accused of demanding drugs and money at knifepoint from a man to whom he claimed to have loaned money.
