Artisans’ Festival Labor Day Blowout

The biggest, bestest, most all-inclusive Vineyard artisans sale begins tonight, Sept. 2, and runs through to Sunday afternoon at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury. It is the 16th annual Vineyard Artisans Labor Day Weekend Festival and rest assured nearly every type of locally made craft will be on display and for sale, including earrings, furniture, pillows, rugs, brooms, art of all shapes and sizes — the list of items could fill volumes.

But it’s not just about quantity and diversity. The quality of the work is, we hate to say unparalleled, but we will anyway, unparalleled.

Tonight’s hours are 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The festival continues on Saturday and Sunday, each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Each day will also feature food by Chesca’s of Edgartown and music by Kevin Keady.

There is no charge for admission but there is a $2 parking fee to help support the Vineyard Artisans and Craftsmen Scholarship Fund given to a graduating student from the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.
