The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

July 1

Dale Rogers, 51, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Offense occurred on April 28; arraigned on June 10. Ordered to pay $550 in fines and a monthly charge of $50 for probation services. Probation continues until Dec. 28.

July 5

Samuel P. Allen, 19, of Weston, Conn., arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and speeding in violation of a special regulation. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail set at $100 and posted, bail warning given.

Thomas G. Donahue, 38, of Pittsburgh, Pa., arraigned on charges of speeding in violation of a special regulation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence of alcohol. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail set at $100 and posted.

Sharon H. Fisher, 44, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of failure to stop or yield, operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Offense occurred on July 4. $200 bail set and posted and bail warning given.

Akil Henderson, 29, of Pittsburgh, Pa., arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and indecent exposure. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail set at $100 and posted.

Michael J. Jeffrey, 20, of East Greenwich, R.I., arraigned on charges of attempting to procure liquor by a person under 21 and a false or misuse of a liquor ID card or license. Offense occurred on July 3. Placed on pretrial probation until Jan. 4, 2012, and ordered to complete 12 hours of community service.

Daniel C. Krane, 20, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of possession of liquor by a person under 21. Offense occurred on July 2. Placed on pretrial probation until Oct. 5 and ordered to complete four hours of community service.

Joseph Lacaprucia, 23, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of vandalizing property and assault and battery. Offense occurred on July 2. Bail was set at $1,000, not posted. Mr. Lacprucia was informed of his right to a bail review and given a bail warning.

Adam S. Linde, 22, of North Grafton, arraigned on charges of keeping a noisy and disorderly house and violating a municipal bylaw or ordinance. Offence occurred on July 5. Placed on pretrial probation until Jan. 4, 2012, and ordered to complete 12 hours of community service.

Joseph T. Lokitis, 23, of Norton, arraigned on charges of possession of a Class B drug. Offense occurred on July 5.

Alexander J. Mazza, 18, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of attempting to buy liquor by a person under 21 and false or misuse of a liquor ID card or license. Offense occurred on July 3.

Annette Moreis, 53, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of violating a municipal bylaw or ordinance. Offense occurred on July 3. Charges to be dismissed by August 3 if four hours of community service are completed.

Muriel Moreis, 50, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of violating a municipal bylaw or ordinance. Offense occurred on July 3. Charges to be dismissed by August 3 if four hours of community service are completed.

Erica J. Raycob, 48, of Watertown, Conn., arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of unlawful fireworks. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail was set at $200 and posted and bail warning given.

Aziza Robinson, 27, of Boston, arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail set at $100 and posted. Placed on pretrial probation until Jan. 14, 2012, and ordered to complete 12 hours of community service by Sept. 27. Ms. Robinson was also ordered to write a letter of apology to her arresting officer by July 15.

Deborah S. Smith, 56, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon (a phone) and malicious destruction of property in excess of $250. Offense occurred on July 3. Bail set at $300 and posted and bail warning given.

David Thrift, 29, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on charges of assault and battery. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail set at $200 and posted and bail warning given. Abuse prevention order issued.

Jennifer Tuerff, 33, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on two counts of assault and battery. Offense occurred on July 4. Bail set at $100 and posted and bail warning given.

Dylan T. Walsh, 21, of Chilmark, arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and speeding in violation of a special regulation. Offense occurred on July 2. Bail set at $100 and posted and bail warning given.

Charles H. Downs, 67, of Vineyard Haven, faced charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Offense occurred on Feb. 17; arraignment was on June 6. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation; OUI charge was dismissed. Admitted to sufficient facts to negligent operation of a motor vehicle; case continued without a finding until July 2, 2012. Ordered to pay $300 in fines and fees and $50 per month for probation services for the negligent operation charge.

Nicholas J. Gallo, 18, of Tuckahoe, N.Y., arraigned on June 16 on charges of false or misuse of a liquor ID card or license and attempt to procure liquor by a person under 21. Offense occurred on June 15. Placed on pretrial probation until Oct. 5 and ordered to complete 12 hours of community service.

July 6

Richard R. Boyd, 58, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Offense occurred on July 5. Bail set at $300 and posted, bail warning given.

July 7

Carmito C. Brito, 39, of Vineyard Haven, faced charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation. Offense occurred on May 31; arraignment was on June 1. Charges will be dismissed if eight hours of community service are completed.

Benjamin R. Wolfe, 37, of Charlton, arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, no inspection sticker and registration not in possession. Offense occurred on July 6.

Celio C. Guimaraes, 45, of Vineyard Haven, faced charges of unlicensed or suspended operation of a motor vehicle. Offense occurred on May 18. Charges disposed of before arraignment. Paid $100 in costs.

Sandra M. Goncalves, 33, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operator sending or reading an electronic message. Offense occurred on May 12. Ordered to pay $100 in costs. Charges will be dismissed if eight hours of community service are completed by August 3.

July 8

Sandra L. Cardoso, 45, of Oak Bluffs, faced charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, refusal of motor vehicle operator to identify self and a motor vehicle lights violation. Offense occurred on May 18; arraignment was on May 19. Ordered to pay $300 in costs and complete eight hours of community service to have charges dismissed.

Sandra Dasilva, 36, of Vineyard Haven, faced charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage. Offense occurred on April 1; arraignment was on June 9. Placed on pretrial probation until Jan. 4, 2012, and ordered to pay $626.38 in restitution.

Melissa Cheusde, 37, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on charges of assault and battery. Offense occurred on July 7. Bail set at $2,000 and bail warning given. Ms. Cheusde was informed of her right to a bail review.

Keri L. Best, 26, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Offense occurred on May 28. Charges to be dismissed if $200 in costs paid by August 3.

Thaycha Ribeiro, 34, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Offense occurred on May 10.

Duncan M. Spencer, 19, of West Tisbury, arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, uninsured motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Offense occurred on May 10. Charges for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed. To have the remaining charge dismissed, must pay $200 in costs by August 8.

John L. Zannini, 52, of New Canaan, Conn., charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation. Default warrant issued after Mr. Zannini failed to appear for arraignment.

July 11

Elizabeth E. Lynch, 27, of West Tisbury, arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of property damage. Offense occurred on July 5. Bail set at $200 and posted. Admitted to sufficient facts, case was continued without a finding until July 11, 2012. Ordered to pay $350 in fines and fees as well as $65 monthly for probation services. Also ordered to attend 24D classes and received 45-day loss of license.

Lucas I. Burns, 25, of Los Angeles, Calif., faced charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation. Offense occurred on July 7; arraignment was same day. Bail set at $200 and posted. Admitted to sufficient facts to operating under the influence, case continued without a finding until July 11, 2012. Ordered to pay $350 in fines and fees as well as $65 monthly for probation services. Found not responsible for speeding, negligent operation charge was dismissed.

Daniel Cournoyer, 29, of Vineyard Haven, faced charges of two counts of assault, threatening to commit a crime and malicious destruction of property in excess of $250. Offense occurred on Sept. 26, 2010; arraignment was on Sept. 29, 2010. Pleaded guilty to assault and ordered to pay $90 in fines and fees and monthly charge of $65 for probation services. Placed on pretrial probation until July 10, 2013. Further ordered not to abuse victim and to attend counseling as deemed appropriate by probation. Found guilty of other charges, sentences will be concurrent.

Michael Gaffey, 52, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of larceny by check under $250 (three separate occasions). Offenses occurred on July 14, 2009, July 15, 2009 and August 27, 2009.

Alexander R. Jernegan, 17, of Edgartown, faced charges of possession of liquor by a person under 21 and violation of a municipal bylaw or ordinance. Offense occurred on June 27; arraignment was on June 28. Placed on pretrial probation until Oct. 12 and ordered to complete 12 hours of community service.

Nicholas J. Parisi, 25, of Wakefield, faced charges of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Offense occurred on May 27; arraignment on same day. Admitted to sufficient facts in assault and battery charge, case was continued without a finding until July 11, 2012. Ordered to pay a monthly $50 charge for probation services and complete 12 hours of community service. Further ordered to write a letter of apology to victim. Disorderly conduct charge dismissed. Admitted to sufficient facts to resisting arrest, case continued without a finding until July 11, 2012. Ordered to complete 12 hours of community service.
