The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

June 27

William J. Bernard, 40, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and having an uninsured motor vehicle. Offense occurred on May 23.

Alexandre R. Alves, 23, of Hyannis, arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and number plate violation. Offense occurred on June 26.

Cynthia A. Brown, 48, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of landlord’s interference with quiet enjoyment. Offense occurred on Oct. 8, 2010.

June 28

Alexander R. Jernegan, 18, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of possession of liquor by a person under the age of 21 and open container violation. Offense occurred on June 27.

Joseph A. Denver, of Brooklyn, N.Y., arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. Offense occurred on June 28.

June 29

Adam V. Tucker, 23, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Offense occurred on June 28. Bail set at $5,000. Mr. Tucker was informed of his right to a bail review and given a bail warning.

June 30

Daniel J. Edelbach, 21, of Vineyard Haven, disposition on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and speeding. Offense occurred on Dec. 21, 2010. Admitted to sufficient facts to unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, case was continued without a finding until Sept. 28. Ordered to pay $50 monthly probation services fee. Found responsible for marked lanes violation and for speeding. Ordered to pay $100 in fines and fees.

Michael B. Dunn, 42, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of operating a boat under the influence of alcohol and operating a boat under the influence of drugs. Bail set at $500, counsel fees totaled $150.

Lee Ann Yeddo, 38, of Edgartown, arraigned on charges of assault. Offense occurred on June 30.

Christopher A. Menne, 28, arraigned on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Offense occurred on April 8.

Zachary A. Bonner, 22, of Vineyard Haven, found guilty of malicious destruction of property in excess of $250. Offense occurred on Oct. 7, 2010. Ordered to pay $200 in restitution.

July 1

James M. Arsenault, 25, of Nashua, found guilty of domestic assault and battery. Offense occurred on June 1. Mr. Arsenault was arraigned on June 6. Mr. Arsenault was placed on parole for one year because his victim was not harmed.

Nathaniel Kistler, 47, of Edgartown, disposition on operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (on two separate occasions), speeding, failure to stop/yield, larceny under $250 (on two separate occasions), larceny over $250 (on eight separate occasions), uttering a false check (on 11 separate occasions) and check forgery (on 10 separate occasions). Vehicular offenses occurred on Dec. 23, 2009 and Dec. 25, 2010. Remaining offenses occurred on Jan. 18, Feb. 15, Feb. 16, Feb. 17, Feb. 22, April 4, April 8, April 11, April 12, April 17 and April 18. For the vehicular charges, ordered to pay a total of $300 in fines and fees, placed on probation until June 26, 2013 and given a sentence of 10 days in the house of correction suspended for two years. For remaining charges, ordered to pay a total of $6,380 in fines and fees plus a $65 monthly probation services fee, reduced to $50 a month after the first year if defendant remains in compliance. Also placed on probation, sentenced to one year in the house of correction, sentence to remain suspended for two years. Must remain drug and alcohol free and submit to screenings, submit a DNA sample. Relapse prevention meetings recommended.

Ann Tuerff, 41, of Vineyard Haven, placed on pre-trial probation until June 27, 2012. Ms. Tuerff faced one charge of assault and battery. Offense occurred on April 10. Arraignment was on June 6.

Cole R. Morrissette, 17, of Bristol, R.I., arraigned on charges of attempting to procure liquor by a person under 21 and false/misuse of a liquor ID card or license. Reading waived and not guilty plea entered. Placed on probation until Dec. 28.

July 5

Eugene J. Berardi, 29, of Vineyard Haven, disposition on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of a class E drug. Offense occurred on June 30. Arraignment was on July 1. Ordered to pay $50 in court costs.

Daniel A. Ben David, 48, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of special regulation and a passing violation. Offense occurred on June 28. Arraignment continued twice. Reading waived and a not guilty plea entered.
