The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

June 10

Leonardo Bonjour, 27, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. Offense occurred on June 9. Ordered to pay $250 fine for unlicensed operation and $50 fine for speeding. Currently on an ICE detainer hold.

Joseph Gonsalves, 44, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on charges of violating an abuse prevention order. Offense occurred on June 9. Released on his own recognizance with the condition that he must stay away from his alleged victim.

June 13

Erik Dolliver, 19, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on charges of possession of liquor by a person under 21 and a noisy and disorderly house. Offense occurred on June 13. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until June 13, 2012. Mr. Dolliver must remain alcohol free and submit to random screenings as well as complete 20 hours of community service.

Nikolai Dranichnikov, 31, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned for operating under the influence, second offense and no inspection sticker. Offense occurred on June 11. Bail set at $300 and posted.

Elizabeth Goodell, 55, of West Tisbury, arraigned on charges of assault and battery. Offense occurred on June 11. Bail set at $100 and posted with condition that no further abuse of alleged victim occur.

Christina M. McLaughlin, 20, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts to threatening to commit a crime (murder) and trespassing. Offense occurred on May 2; Ms. McLaughlin was arraigned on May 3. Case will be continued without a finding until June 13, 2012. Ms. McLaughlin may not contact the victim by any means or abuse him.

Shane Schofield, 18, of Edgartown, was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct. Offense occurred on June 13.

Deborah S. Smith, 56, of Edgartown, was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and improper operation of a motor vehicle. The offense occurred on June 13. Bail was set at $200.

John Fairfax Schneider, 20, of Edgartown, was arraigned on charges of attempt to procure liquor by a person under the age of 21, false/misuse of a liquor ID card/license. Offense occurred on June 11. Released without bail and ordered to pay $500 fine.

Zachery M. Rubino, 26, of Vero Beach, Fla., was arraigned on charges of possession of a Class B drug. Offense occurred on June 12. Released without bail and ordered to pay $40 fine.

Jose J. Rodriguez Jr., 27, of Taunton, was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault and battery. Offense occurred on June 11. Bail set at $600 on June 11 and raised to $1,400 on June 13. Arraignment continued to pretrial.

Christopher W. Melnik, 32, of Holyoke, was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and marked lanes violation. Offense occurred on June 11. Bail set at $600.

June 15

Naomi Brown, 36, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned for shoplifting. Offense occurred on June 14. Ms. Brown was released on her own recognizance.

June 16

Timothy Leonard, 31, of Longmeadow, admitted to sufficient facts to negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and operating under the influence. Offense occurred on Sept. 9, 2010. Mr. Leonard was arraigned on Sept. 13, 2010. Ordered to pay $665 in fines and fees. Probation will continue until June 12, 2013.

John M. Dowling Jr., 39, of Edgartown admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of assault and battery. Disorderly conduct charge was dismissed. Offense occurred on Sept. 12, 2010; Mr. Dowling was arraigned on Nov. 8, 2010. Ordered to pay $100 in fees, may not have contact with victim, write a letter of apology (completed) and complete 40 hours of community service.

Nicholas J. Gallo, 18, of Tuckahoe, N.Y., was arraigned on charges of false/misuse of a liquor ID card/license and attempt to procure alcohol by a person under the age of 21. Offense occurred on June 15. Ordered to pay $300 fine.

Tyler P. Turner, 28, of West Tisbury, was charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Offense occurred on June 27, 2009. Event was resolved and case disposed of.

Robert E. Stafursky, 26, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence (second offense), marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Offense occurred on June 15. Reading waived, plea of not guilty entered.

Leo Willoughby, 53, of Vineyard Haven, was charged with larceny over $250. Offense occurred on Sept. 22, 2010. Event resolved and case disposed of.

Marcia R. Zolin, 35, of Vineyard Haven, was charged with operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield. Offense occurred on April 4, 2010. Probation until June 13, 2012.

June 17

Alec N. Gale, 35, of West Tisbury, admitted to sufficient facts to operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speeding. Offense occurred on Nov. 3, 2010; Mr. Gale was arraigned Nov. 4, 2010. Case will continue without a finding until June 13, 2012. Ordered to pay $415 in fines and fees. Mr. Gale must participate in 24-day alcohol education program and will lose his license for 45 days.

Ross E. Willey, 23, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Offense occurred on June 17. Bail set at $200.

John Stanton, 48, of Fairhaven was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and wanton destruction of property in excess of $250. Offense occurred on June 8.

June 20

Carlos M. Johnson, 24, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts to leaving the scene of a personal injury, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Offense occurred on Feb. 24; Mr. Johnson was arraigned on May 23. The negligent operation charge was dismissed, found responsible for the marked lanes violation and ordered to pay $200 in fines and fees, complete 40 hours of community service and refrain from committing any further motor vehicle violations.

Kevin P. McIntyre, 36, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin). The offense occurred on May 12; Mr. McIntyre was arraigned May 13. Bail set at $5,000 but never posted. Ordered to pay $155 in fines and fees. Mr. McIntyre will be on probation until June 19, 2013, must submit to random drug screenings, remain drug free, undergo drug treatment as mandated by probation, complete 40 hours of community service, submit a DNA sample and forfeit $180 to the Edgartown police department.

Joshua Hathaway, 31, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Offense occurred on March 6. Paid $50 fine.

John A. Roberts Jr., 72, of Chilmark, had been charged with operating under the influence (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and motor vehicle lights violation. Offense occurred on July 3, 2010. Case disposed of on June 20. Ordered to pay $100 fine.

Brandi Seelve, 58, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on charges of uttering a false check. Offense occurred on April 18.

Ethan Canfield, 21, of Newtown, Conn., was arraigned on charges of larceny from a person. Offense occurred on June 18. Bail set at $100.

Daryl E. Durden, of New Bedford was arraigned on charges of distribution of a Class B drug. Offense occurred on June 18. Bail set at $1,000 surety.

Zilmara Moraes, 33, of Edgartown, was arraigned on charges of assault and battery. Offense occurred on June 18. Bail set at $300.

Magda R. Pereira of Oak Bluffs was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Offense occurred on June 18. Bail set at $100 and posted.

Craig T. Rowe, 27, of Philadelphia, Pa., arraigned on charges of assault and battery and disorderly conduct. Offense occurred on June 18. Bail set at $200.

Dennis M. Lewoczko, 21, of Middleboro, was arraigned on charges of assault and battery of a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Offense occurred on June 19. Bail set at $200.

Priti Suri, 48, of New Delhi, India, was arraigned on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence and a marked lanes violation. Offense occurred on June 18.

June 21

Theresa L. Praskach, 53, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Offense occurred on June 20. Bail set at $200.
