Welcome Paul Mohair

The Edgartown Council on Aging is happy to welcome Paul Mohair as its new administrator. He will have the overall responsibility for the organization. Mr. Mohair began working on March 14, and is now meeting the community and becoming familiar with the position.

Paul has been a resident of Chilmark for almost 12 years. His past professional experience includes 25 years in human/social services. As an attorney, Mr. Mohair has counseled, represented and advocated on behalf of hundreds of seniors. He has over 16 years experience managing and administering a social services program delivering legal services to seniors and low-income residents. In his spare time, Mr. Mohair enjoys outdoor activities including biking, hiking and kayaking. He also plays scrabble, whenever opponents become available.

Dianne Durawa has been serving as acting administrator during this time of transition and is again looking forward to retirement.
