One-Man Shakespeare

A 30-year veteran of television, New York and New England regional theatre, actor Richard Clark will bring the Bard to life in the big room at the Tisbury senior center on Monday, April 19, for a performance titled, The Lunatic, The Lover & The Poet at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome. Mr. Clark’s performance is a part of his Keeping History Alive series, with this installment being focused on the world of Shakespeare, timed to coincide with the Bard’s birthday week. Get a more intimate perspective on the worries and whims of Romeo, the twisted relationship of Antony and Cleopatra, and the sickly soliloquies of King Richard.

The performance will be followed with birthday cake. The performance is free and open to all, though seating is limited. Please call ahead to reserve a seat, Monday through Friday, at 508-696-4205.
