Got chocolate? If not, you’re in luck as Featherstone is busily preparing for its annual Art of Chocolate Festival, to be held on Columbus Day weekend. This year’s festival features a very special preview party on Friday, Oct. 9, with an interactive performance called Love by Chocolate, presented by ArtFarm: the story of a princess who must choose her prince on the basis of the quality of the chocolate he proffers. During and after the performance, the audience will continue to consume chocolate treats, chocolate martinis and champagne. Cost for the preview is $50.

The confections continue on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10 and 11 from noon to 4 p.m. Each day. visitors may dip into a chocolate fountain and taste treats from Chilmark Chocolates, chocolate-covered cranberries from Dorothy Cox Chocolates, tempered chocolate goodies from Brenda Mastromonaco, brownies from Rickard’s Bakery, chocolate ice cream sundaes, chocolate macaroons from the Scottish Bakehouse, almond butter crunch from New Moon Majick, Cakes by Liz and so many others.
