Road Race

The 19th annual Columbus Day 5K Road Race will benefit the Island Affordable Housing Fund for the second year in a row. The event will be held Sunday, Oct. 12, starting at the Wesley Hotel in Oak Bluffs.

The race will include a 5K run and a one-mile fun run, and a 5K walk so that all may be involved. Registration forms can be found at the Oak Bluffs town hall and the town library. Preregistration will take place tomorrow from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Wesley Hotel and on Sunday from 9 to 10 a.m. The fee for preregistration is $15; registration on the day of the race is $20. The race begins at 11 a.m.
