The 37th Annual Martha’s Vineyard Antiques Show, benefiting the Rotary Club of Martha’s Vineyard, opens Thursday for a weekend program in the Edgartown Elementary School on the West Tisbury Road in Edgartown,

The show kicks off Thursday, July 17, 6 to 8 p.m. with an hors d’oeuvre reception. Admission to the preview is $40, and it’s best to make reservations by calling 508-627-6024.

Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19, the show is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is $10.

This year’s show features dealers offering antiques from the 18th, 19th and 20th century, including furniture, paintings, prints, lighting, jewelry, oriental rugs and more. This year will feature some special events including a rare tapestry display, on show from one of the largest private collections of rare tapestries in the United States. The exhibit includes early 17th and 18th century tapestries from Brussels and France. They will all be on exhibit throughout the show.

Each morning of the show will start off at 9 a.m. with a talk on various aspects of collecting antiques. The 45-minute talk will be included in the show admission.
