Sarah A. Bryant and Erik J. Cetrulo, both of New York city, were married July 21 on the front lawn of the bride’s parents’ summer home on North Neck Road on Chappaquiddick island.

Denise A. DiCenso, master of divinity, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Bryant of West Falmouth.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Curtis Cetrulo of Hingham and Chilmark.

The maid of honor was Meghan Donoghue of Boston.

The best man was Dr. Curt Cetrulo, older brother of the bridegroom, of Los Angeles, Calif.

The reception was held on the front lawn of the bride’s parents’ Chappaquiddick home overlooking Vineyard Sound.

The bride is a graduate of Fay School and St. Mark’s in Southboro, and graduated cum laude from Colgate University, class of 2001. She is a senior manager in the trust, estates and appraisal department of Sotheby’s Auction House in Manhattan.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Milton Academy and graduated with honors from Stanford University. He received a masters in international relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a master’s of business administration with highest academic distinction from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He is presently a portfolio manager in the global macro trading group at SAC Capital Advisers, a hedge fund in Stamford, Conn.

Although both bride and bridegroom spent their summers on the Vineyard, they did not meet until they both moved to Manhattan. Erik was walking down the street seemingly lost when he asked Sarah for directions. And the rest, as they say, is history.
