Faith Community Church of Edgartown recently called the Rev. Jeffrey Winter to be the interim pastor.

Reverend Winter is a graduate of Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa., and Gordon-Conwell Seminary in South Hamilton. He received his doctor of ministry degree from McCormick Seminary in Chicago.

Reverend Winter is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church USA. In recent years, he has served as the co-pastor of the St. Paul’s International Church, Antalya, Turkey, and the interim pastor of the Langhorne Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.

Over the years he has worked in conjunction with Young Life, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Campus Crusade, World Vision and Presbyterians for Renewal.

His wife, Judy, is a graduate of the Hospital of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. For many years she has been a critical care nurse. The Winters have three children and three grandchildren.

Faith Community’s Sunday morning service begins at 10 a.m. The church is at 315 Meeting House Road in Edgartown. Sunday School for children is held in conjunction with the worship service. More information about the church is available by calling 508-627-8918 or by visiting faithmv.org.
