The face of Lucy Vincent was further transformed this weekend when a large protrusion, carved out by the hurricane Sandy in October, crashed to the beach this week. The hurricane created U-shaped fissure in the familiar cliff face, the result of a large boulder falling into the cave below. In a series of winter storms since, the that fissure has deepened; this week a large frontal portion came crashing down onto the sandy beach below.
