Edgartown Harbor in winter looks like a place rooted in its 19th century history. On one of the coldest days of the season, the harbor is quiet and absent the bustle of summer. Downtown streets point toward the harbor. There are clear unencumbered views.
The noon sun casts long shadows.
At this time of year a single small boat casts a wake that spreads across the harbor.
