Chicken Alley is the place to be, rain or shine this weekend. The annual Art and Collectable Sale is preceded this year by a new event, the Needle Book Fashion Show Community Couture. Both events raise funds for Martha’s Vineyard Community Services.

All year long, staff of the Chicken Alley Thrift Store put aside unique treasures to feature at the annual sale, held this year from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 18.

The Needle Book Fashion Show will feature local designers and selections from the thrift shop’s boutique collection. The fashion show is today, August 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
