Juniors Aubrey Ashmun and Sydney Davies notched a goal and an assist apiece as the Vineyarders split with nonleague opponent King Philip Regional High on Monday afternoon. The Vineyarders move to 10-5-3 on the season, and play their final game on Thursday at 4 p.m. against Marshfield.

Davies took a feed from Ashmun early in the first to get the Vineyard on the board, but a late power play goal by King Philip evened the score. The Warriors took a 2-1 lead in the second period before senior captain Callie Jackson tied the game for the Vineyard.

Ashmun scored her 20th goal of the season on a breakaway rush in the second to put the team up 3-2. The Warriors tied the game on a third-period power play.

Head coach John Fiorito said the team achieved its goal of shutting down KP leading scorer Danielle Hamilton, who scored all of the goals in her squad's 4-3 defeat of the Vineyard last week.
