The commercial center of West Tisbury, North Tisbury includes up-Island’s only grocery store, as well as a bank, post office, restaurant and small shops intermixed with dirt roads and parcels of farmland where horses roam. The Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School and the town’s new fire department and emergency services facility are also lo- cated here. Homes are set back from the commercial bustle.
